Victoria Falls is one of the the main tourist attractions in Africa, and it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This waterfall is the largest in the world, and the most unusual shape, even has a collection of the most diverse fauna that exist in a waterfall area. Mosi-oa-Tunya is the name commonly used local residents, while Victoria Falls name given by the people of Europe in the future. This waterfall has a width of 1.7 kilometers and an altitude of 108 meters (360 feet), forming a layer of the largest waterfalls in the world. Many African animals and birds can be seen in the Victoria Falls, and a rich diversity of fish that you can see on the Zambezi river, giving a view of wildlife and sport fishing while enjoying the stunning views.

The Great Zimbabwe Ruins are an impressive set of stone complexes built between the 13th and 15th century when the ancient Kingdom of Munumatapa existed in all its glory.

Amish Country

Berlin, Ohio's Amish & Mennonite Heritage Center (behalt.com) is dedicated to disseminating information about the area's Amish, Mennonite and Hutterite cultures. Its centerpiece is the Behalt Cyclorama, a 265-foot long mural painted along a curved wall that depicts the growth of the Amish and Mennonite cultures from their genesis in 1525 to the present day. The center also hosts a video overview of the local Amish and Mennonite cultures and a gift shop that features Amish handicrafts. The Amish & Mennonite Heritage Center is located on County Road 77 and is open daily except Sundays.

Cincinnati

Located within the city's Eden Park, the Cincinnati Art Museum (cincinnatiartmuseum.org) is home to more than 60,000 works dating from approximately 4,000 B.C. to the present. Its Cincinnati Wing spotlights local artists working in media ranging from visual arts to ceramics. The museum offers free admission to all patrons and is closed on Mondays.
The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden (cincinnatizoo.org) is America's second-oldest zoo and welcomes over 1.2 million visitors every year. Its residents include over 500 animal species, which include white lions, manatees and polar bears, and 3,000 different plant species. The zoo also hosts the 4-D Theater, which presents 3-D films accompanied by tactile effects such as wind and mist within the auditorium. The zoo is open every day except Christmas.

Cleveland

Cedar Point Amusement Park:

Cleveland's Cedar Point amusement park features 75 rides, which include 16 different roller coasters. The park caters to young visitors with its four separate kids' areas, with rides and attractions geared toward small children. Cedar Point also hosts the Soak City Waterpark and offers live entertainment throughout its season. The park is open daily from early May through Labor Day, then open on weekends throughout October.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame & Museum hosts over 150,000 square feet of exhibits, which include memorabilia such as Jimi Hendrix's Stratocaster guitar and a pair of Ray Charles' sunglasses. The Hall is dedicated to demonstrating rock's significance in society and culture and holds special events throughout the year. It also hosts four theaters, where you can see concert films for an additional charge. Children under nine enter free with a paid adult admission. Lonely Planet warns that crowds can be particularly heavy through the early afternoon.

The Jack Nicklaus Museum features 24,000 square feet of golf memorabilia and exhibits detailing the great golfer's career as a player and course designer. Exhibits include the "Nicklaus Course Design Gallery," which displays Nicklaus' courses and details how designers create courses, and the "Legends of Golf Gallery," which illustrates the history of golf from the 15th century to the present, while spotlighting some of the game's greatest players. The museum is located on the Ohio State University campus and is closed Sundays and Mondays.

The Amazon: The World's Largest Rainforest

The Amazon River Basin is home to the largest rainforest on Earth. The basin -- roughly the size of the forty-eight contiguous United States -- covers some 40% of the South American continent and includes parts of eight South American countries: Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, and Suriname, as well as French Guiana, a department of France.

CITY OF OURO PRETO

One of Brazil’s best-preserved colonial towns, Ouro Preto, meaning “black gold”, was founded at the end of the 17th century. It quickly became the epicenter of a new gold rush in the state of Minas Gerais. The city contains well preserved Portuguese colonial architecture, while modern buildings must adhere to historical standards maintained by the city. 18th- and 19th-century churches decorated with gold and the sculptured works of Aleijadinho make Ouro Preto one of the most popular tourist attractions in Brazil.

TEATRO AMAZONAS

Teatro Amazonas or Amazon Theatre is anManaus, in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest. It was built during the heyday of rubber trade using materials from all over the world, with furniture from Paris, marble from Italy, and steel from England. On the outside of the building, the dome was covered with 36,000 decorated ceramic tiles painted in the colors of the Brazilian national flag.

The first performance was given on January 7, 1897, with the Italian opera La Gioconda. The opera house was closed down soon after however as the rubber trade declined and Manaus lost its main source of income.
